  • Making Changes to your Application Post-Submission

    After You Submit You will be required to provide updates (as applicable) to various portions of the application post submission.

    Below are the sections of the application, areas within each section, and the policy on whether you can change on your end or submit an update to TMDSAS

    Can Be Changed or Updated:

    Application Sections

    Account Information 

    Account information, such as creation or reactivation of an account, or changes to email address and password, can be changed by both applicants and TMDSAS at applicant request 

    How to Update: Log in to the application and go to [My Account] to change your email address or password. If you are unable to make this change, send an internal message to TMDSAS requesting help.   

    Application History 

    TMDSAS will add application history if this was not included and will correct TMDSAS schools applied to. TMDSAS will not remove application history.  

    How to Update: TMDSAS will make this change during processing if needed.

    Application Status 

    TMDSAS will withdraw application following request by applicant. 

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message through the application requesting that their application be withdrawn. 

    Colleges Attended 

    TMDSAS will add/remove schools, adjust dates attended, fix graduation dates/status, add or change minors/majors, indicate if a school was non-degree seeking. 

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message through the application requesting that this information be changed. 

    Colleges Attended Questions 

    TMDSAS will update responses to Academic Fresh Start applicants, will remove Fresh Start eligible coursework, and release information to pre-health advisors. 

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message through the application requesting that these changes be made. 

    College Coursework 

    Applicants can make limited changes to this section following submission of the application. TMDSAS will make changes to this section as required during application processing and following completion of planned coursework. 

    How to Update: Applicants must log into the application to make these changes. For any change that an applicant is unable to make on their own, send TMDSAS an internal message detailing request. 

    Community Service 

    TMDSAS will not allow any changes or updates to the Community Service section of the application. 

    Contact Info 

    Applicants can make updates to their contact information at any time. 

    How to Update: Log in to the application to make these changes. 

    Demographic Information 

    TMDSAS will change an applicant's date of birth at the applicant's request. TMDSAS will not change an applicant's place of birth but will upload a letter into the application with this information. 

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message requesting that these changes be made. 

    Disciplinary Action 

    After the date of submission of your TMDSAS application, if you become the subject of an institutional action or disciplinary action by a State Licensure Board, you must inform TMDSAS as well as the admissions office of each school to which you have applied.

    You must notify TMDSAS and each school within ten business days of the occurrence of the institutional action. Failure to disclose this information could result in the rejection of your application, withdrawal of any offer of acceptance, dismissal after enrollment, or rescission of any degrees granted.

    Employment  

    TMDSAS will not allow any changes or updates to the Employment section of the application. 

    Essays 

    TMDSAS will not allow any changes or updates to the Essays section of the application. 

    Extra-Curricular Activities 

    TMDSAS will not allow any changes or updates to the Extra-Curricular Activities section of the application.

    Family 

    TMDSAS will change an applicant's family contact information, parent doctor designation, and answers to the Parent Physician Question. 

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message requesting that these changes be made. 

    Felonies and Misdemeanors 

    After the date of submission of your TMDSAS application, if you are charged, convicted of, plead guilty, or no contest to a felony or misdemeanor crime, you must inform TMDSAS as well as the admissions office of each school to which you have applied.

    You must notify TMDSAS and each school within ten business days of the occurrence of the criminal charge or conviction. Failure to disclose this information could result in the rejection of your application, withdrawal of any offer of acceptance, dismissal after enrollment, or rescission of any degrees granted. 

    Financial Information

    TMDSAS will not allow any changes or updates to the Financial Information section of the application.


    Healthcare Activities 

    TMDSAS will not allow any changes or updates to the Healthcare Activities section of the application. 

    High School 

    TMDSAS will not change the answers to these questions but will upload a letter to the application regarding high school graduation date and/or ACT/SAT dates or scores if an error was made prior to submission. 

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message requesting that these changes be made. 

    Leadership Activities 

    TMDSAS will not allow any changes or updates to the Leadership Activities section of the application. 

    Letters of Evaluation 

    Applicants can make a limited number of changes to this section post-submission. For all other changes, a request must be made to TMDSAS. 

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message requesting that these changes be made. 

    Military Service 

    TMDSAS will not change the answers to these questions but will upload a letter to the application regarding an applicant's Military Service if an error was made prior to submission. 

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message requesting that these changes be made. 

    Planned Activities 

    TMDSAS will not allow any changes or updates to the Planned Activities section of the application. 

    Proof of Residency 

    TMDSAS will correct Visa information and change Permanent Residency status.  

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message requesting that these changes be made and provide documentation if required. 

    Research Activities 

    TMDSAS will not allow any changes or updates to the Research Activities section of the application. 

    Residency Documents 

    TMDSAS will add/remove Residency documents provided by the applicant.  

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message requesting that these changes be made and provide documentation if required. 

    Select Schools 

    TMDSAS will add/remove schools applied to, based on applicant request.  

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message requesting that these changes be made. 

    Socioeconomic Information 

    TMDSAS will not change the answers to these questions but will upload a letter to the application regarding an applicant's Socioeconomic Information if an error was made prior to submission.  

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message requesting that these changes be made. 

    Transcripts 

    TMDSAS will add/remove transcripts and edit attendance dates as needed.  

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message requesting that these changes be made and ensure that transcripts are sent to TMDSAS. 

    Tests: DAT/MCAT/GRE 

    TMDSAS will edit ID numbers to match test and update test dates as needed.  

    How to Update: Applicants must send an internal message requesting that these changes be made. 

    Upload Photo 

    Photo will be changed only by request of TMDSAS when the current photo is missing or does not meet requirements.  

    How to Update: TMDSAS will contact applicant requesting that a new photo be submitted; TMDSAS will upload.
