A Note About the Internal Messaging System:

  • The official mode of communication is the internal messaging feature, not email. Please contact us via the internal messaging system. This allows our team to have your application readily available to provide guidance and answer your questions.
  • Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 12 PM and 1 PM - 4 PM CST.
  • We typically provide responses to messages within 1-2 business days; however, response times can be longer during peak season (May - July).
  • Be sure to have your TMDSAS ID number (located under your name in the upper-right corner of the application) when contacting TMDSAS.

When You Should Contact your Health Professions Advisor 

TMDSAS can assist with application-related questions. For advising inquiries, including the following, please contact your health professions advisor directly:

  • When should I apply to TMDSAS?
  • When should I take/re-take the MCAT/DAT
  • What courses will count towards the prerequisites?
  • Who should be my evaluators?

If you do not have access to an advisor, you can request to be paired with a volunteer health professions advisor at NAAHP.

You must notify TMDSAS of this designation by sending a message through the application internal messaging system. Otherwise, TMDSAS cannot provide information to other individuals.

TMDSAS expects all applicants to exhibit professionalism when contacting TMDSAS Support. Applicants must identify themselves properly and honestly, as information cannot be provided to parents, spouses, family members, or friends. This is to maintain the integrity of the application process and to provide better support and to abide by state and national student privacy laws. Misrepresentation of identity and/or dishonest, threatening, or offensive communication will not be tolerated.
