Report notes: Data set includes Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, McGovern Medical School at UT Health Houston, Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Texas A&M College of Medicine, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine at El Paso, Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine at Lubbock, University of Houston College of Medicine, University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine, and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

The most recent applicant pool (Entry Year 2022) only displays applicant data until final statuses are made available upon matriculation in the fall of 2022.

Certain filters may not apply to all entry years, and will not display data. These include “Non-Traditional”,  “Reapplicant,” “Military,” etc.

Map displays the cities applicants identified as their hometown.

Tips for using filters

Entry Year
Filter data by applicant entry year. You may only select one entry year at a time.

Ethnicity
These selections are defined by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

Status
Matriculated refers to applicants who enrolled at a member institution, Accepted refers to applicants who received an offer of acceptance, Interviewed refers to any applicants who were interviewed at a member institution

Applicant Type
• Military displays applicants who indicated military experience
• Non-Traditional shows applicants who self-identified as Non-Traditional
• Reapplicants are applicants who have previously applied to TMDSAS

Residency
TMDSAS verifies applicant residency. Filter data by selecting either option, or leave unchecked for full applicant pool.

Sex
Applicants who Decline to Answer to this question may also select additional options in the application that accurately reflect their gender and preferred pronouns.
