Report notes: Data set includes Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine.

The most recent applicant pool (Entry Year 2022) only displays applicant data until final statuses are made available upon matriculation in the fall of 2022.

Certain filters may not apply to all entry years and will not display data. These include “Non-Traditional”, “Reapplicant”, “Military,” etc.

The Map page displays the cities applicants identified as their hometown.

Tips for using filters

Entry Year
Filter data by applicant entry year. You may only select one entry year at a time.

Ethnicity
These selections are defined by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

Status
Matriculated refers to applicants who enrolled at a member institution, Accepted refers to applicants who received an offer of acceptance, Interviewed refers to any applicants who were interviewed at a member institution

Applicant Type
• Military displays applicants who indicated military experience
• Non-Traditional shows applicants who self-identified as Non-Traditional
• Reapplicants are applicants who have previously applied to TMDSAS

Residency
TMDSAS verifies applicant residency. Filter data by selecting either option, or leave unchecked for full applicant pool.

Sex
Applicants who Decline to Answer to this question may also select additional options in the application that accurately reflect their gender and preferred pronouns.
